Gloucestershire Suicide Benches

Exciting News! We’ve already reached the fundraising target for the Stroud bench after a little over 2 months. This is brilliant and thank you so much to everyone who donated. Many people donated anonymously or left names but I didn’t have their contact details, so I want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone here. Your donation will help save lives.

Our next step for Stroud is to order the bench and agree a site and a date for the reveal ceremony with the site owners, so I’ll be posting more news when we have it.

Secondly, the first bench in Gloucestershire is about to be revealed. Mary Barnes has fundraised for this and her story is here . This bench will be unveiled with a short ceremony at 12pm on Wednesday 15 July at the Community Centre, Glevum Way, Abbeydale, Gloucester, and you are welcome to attend.
